Couldn't fault the doctor, however we had to wait 1hr and 20 minutes after our appointment time to be seen. The waiting room was packed of small children in sweltering heat. The nurses were kind enough to provide water and juice. The car park is a joke and couldnt find a space so we were stressed and hot before we got in there.

Response from Mr Giles Pattison

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I would like to apologise for the long wait - we are doing all we can to streamline our fracture clinic service to minimise the waiting times, whilst allowing as much time as is needed for each consultation. The car parking issues are well known by the trust. I have taken the liberty of forwarding your anonymised comments to the relevant office. If you wish to take things further please contact our Patient Liaison service. Their email is feedback@uhcw.nhs.uk

My Daughter and I came out of her Appointment with Mr Pattison on 29th June and were in total disbelief - For the first time in years we felt massively reassured and it felt so odd! We seen a few Orthopaedic Consultants but Mr Pattison spoke directly to my Daughter , very few have spoken to her like a person let alone included her in the conversations about her. My Daughter has had many scans done over the years, but for the actual first time we were shown on the scans where the problems were and explained everything and more. After years of feeling deflated after our Orthopaedic appointments - I cannot emphasise enough how refreshing it is to come out of an appointment and see my daughter optimistic, happier and included in her care!

Dr Pattison is treating my son with talipes, I am very pleased with the progress and the approach presented by Mr Pattison and his team. With time I managed to get to know them a bit better due to them being very friendly and supportive with the treatment. I have appointments weekly and was worried that it is going to be a painful and unpleasant experience, but with time I learned that although it is a slow process, there is support available along the way. I have received plenty advice till date and I got to be more confident that my son is in best hands on the way to full recovery.
